1st Championship Round report from Carl

The first round went ok for me really, I qualified for the main race in 25th which I was really disappointed with but at least I qualified and I just looked ahead to the races and stayed focused.

The first race I had a poor start and was in around 27th but came through to 13th.

The second race I had an ok start in around 10th and finished the race in 7th which I was really happy with, and the last race I was 3rd off the start and was battling hard when I got a rear wheel puncture forcing me to retire.

Overall the day was ok I eventually finished 12th on the day so I think it's an ok result for the bad luck I had and a good position to sit in going into the next round.

My next round of the AMCA championship is on the 15th of July at Condover hosted by the Shrewsbury club so i'm hoping for a good result there.
