Surf4theSoul
Win the Interclub Championships

Last weekend saw adverse conditions moving in to disrupt yet
another Interclub championships at Gwithian on the North Coast
of Cornwall. Teams battled it out in terrential rain and howling
onshore winds and the standard of Surfing was one of the best
I've seen in a long time from everyone.
Saturday
saw the Surf4theSoul Team with a clear 2 points ahead in small
surf, but Sunday brought head high waves in strong winds and
the LIfeguards red flagged the beach bringing a halt to the
contest after only 7 heats.
Contest
Directors decided to re-set the scores to zero and put the top
3 teams back in to decide the winners.. Some amazing surfing
from Chris Nico James Steve Darren and Gary soon brought Surf4theSoul
right back where they belonged on top and the outcome was clear
all the way through all 6 heats followed closely By Scarborough
Malibu Club from North Yorkshire. leaving the Hotdoggers licking
their wounds in third place...
Still
3rd out of 17 teams is no disgrace.. better luck next year :)

The team would especially like to that Rob & Jane at Dodgy
Gear for the T shirts and sponsorship, even though James seemed
to have lost his overnight lol.
