"NICHOLLS HAS A REMEDIE"
The
6th round of the Remidies Bar Motocross Championship came to
Wrangway
near Wellington the weather was forecast for rain but it seemed
that we were
going to be fortunate today avoiding any downpoors.Hopefully!
The
first race feature some heavy hitters including some of the
top ten
riders in the series..As they ripped off the line it was Nick
Wadge taking
the holeshot from the inside with Lee Lucas in second and Sam
Nicholls in
3rd from the right outside..
By the end of the first lap the positions
stayed the same. As they reached the far side of the track Sam
Nicholls
tried to move into 2nd showing a classic inside out passing
move and making
it stick!
Another lap had been made with Nick Wadge still leading infront
of
Nicholls and Lucas, although Lucas had dropped back a few seconds
Nicholls
began to close in on Wadge pushing him into many mistakes untill
he finally
cracked when he went down on the tight left hander over on the
far side of
the track.
When Nicholls gained the lead he pulled away with ease finishing
with a impressive 7 second lead over Lee Lucas who just held
of a
recovering Nick wadge in 3rd..
